The BassGas Project produces gas, condensates and LP gas from the Yolla gas field situated 147km off Victoria’s southern coast. The project includes the unmanned Yolla ‘A’ offshore platform in 80m water, a 147km pipeline to shore and an onshore gas processing facility at Lang Lang, approximately 100km south east of Melbourne.
High-Point Rendel was engaged by Clough Engineering to perform an independent overview and assessment of claims preparation and the overall claims process as well as considering the potential outturn for the project and strategy for settlement. The scope included a review of contract documents, variations, extension of time applications and other legal arguments.
