The Dubai Metro is a fully automated light rail transit system with a total length of approximately 77 km comprising 54 km Red Line (between Dubai International Airport and Jebel Ali Port) and 23 km Green Line (between Dubai Airport Free Zone and Dubai Healthcare City), including 12 underground stations and 35 elevated stations. It is the world's longest driverless rail system.
Two High-Point Rendel teams comprising project management, design management, commercial and contractual specialists are providing claims management and programme management support to the Japanese-Turkish Metro Joint Venture (JTMJV) comprising Obayashi Corporation, Kajima Corporation and Yapi Merkezi Insaat ve Sanayi A.S. of Turkey, for the civil works component of the Dubai Metro in the United Arab Emirates.
