Bridge paper presented at joint Dhaka conference

Dave Astin, senior bridge engineer at High-Point Rendel, presented the 'Design of the Third Karnaphuli Bridge' paper at the IABSE-JSCE Joint Conference on Advances in Bridge Engineering-II which was held 8-10 August 2010 at the RHD Auditorium, Roads and Highways Department, in Dhaka, Bangladesh.




Firm support for inaugural Northern lunch

Nearly 300 guests attended the inaugural Society of Construction Law lunch in the North of England, held at the Leeds Marriott Hotel on 24 September 2010. High-Point Rendel was amongst the hosts, welcoming guests from the UK buildings and infrastructure sectors. The guest speaker was Paul Darling QC who spoke of his "Twenty five years as a construction litigator."
